
Eagles Announce 2012 ECHL Playoff Roster

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets & the AHL's St. John's IceCaps, announced today their roster for the 2012 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs that start tomorrow. ECHL playoff rosters consist of a maximum of 23 players; a 20-man active roster, plus a three-man reserve list. Teams are also allowed to list players unavailable at playoff roster deadline time due to call-ups -- those players can be added to the reserve list when/if they become available, up until the start of the Conference Finals, at which point rosters are frozen.

Colorado (#4 seed) will begin its first ECHL playoff series in Stockton, Calif. on Tuesday in a best-of-five series against the Thunder (#5 seed). Game 2 will be played in Stockton on Wednesday before the series shifts to Colorado. Game 3 will take place on Friday, and if necessary, Games 4 & 5 will take place on Saturday & Monday.
