
Steelheads: Idaho Announces Kelly Cup Playoffs Roster

Idaho Steelheads News Release
(Boise, ID) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Hardy Sauter released the roster of eligible players for the Idaho Steelheads in the upcoming 2012 Key Bank ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Each team submitted its roster for ECHL approval, containing a 20-player active roster as well as a three-player "reserve" roster.
The 23 players listed on Idaho's playoff roster are as follows:
Goaltenders (2): Jerry Kuhn, Bryan Hince
Defensemen (8): Kory Scoran, Steven Tarasuk, Michael Gergen, Derek Matheson, Chris Hepp, Deron Cousens, Matt Case, Hubert Labrie
Forwards (10): Marty Flichel, Jacob Cepis, Joe Pereira, Michael Neal, Cody Purves, Ian Lowe, Chad Nehring, Derek LeBlanc, Ron Meyers, Aaron Lewicki
Reserve (3): Marc Rechlicz, Patrick Kennedy, Kael Mouillierat
Rechlicz and Kennedy will open the playoffs on the reserve list due to injury. Mouillierat remains with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League. Labrie, who is listed on Idaho's 20-player active roster, is still with the Texas Stars, Idaho's AHL affiliate.
Idaho opens up the 2012 Key Bank ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs Tuesday night at CenturyLink Arena in Boise against the Ontario Reign. Game 2 is also in Boise on Wednesday night with both games beginning at 7 PM (Mtn) before transitioning to southern California for the remaining games in the best-of-five series at Ontario's Citizens Business Bank Arena.
