Brutlag Returns from AHL Norfolk

Forward Bryan Brutlag has been re-assigned to the Gladiators from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Brutlag appeared in four games with Norfolk after he was called up to the Admirals on March 22nd but did not register a point while in the AHL. In eight career AHL games with Norfolk, Brutlag has not registered a point but has earned a +2 plus/minus rating in the AHL.

The Lakeville, Minnesota native currently leads all Gladiators rookies and shares first in scoring with 46 points (20 goals, 26 assists) in 65 games this season. He has also earned a +4 plus/minus rating while with Gwinnett.

The 5-foot-11, 189-pound forward earned 60 points (21 goals, 39 assists) in 151 career collegiate games at RPI from 2007-2011. He had a career best eight goals at RPI during his senior season in 2010-11.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
