Bowling Green, KY - Major League Baseball has announced that Hot Rods left-handed pitcher Felipe Rivero will represent the Tampa Bay Rays at the 2012 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Rivero, as well as 2011 Hot Rod Enny Romero, will represent their home countries of Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, respectively, as members of the World squad.

He joins Lake County's Francisco Lindor (Cleveland) and Burlington's Chih-Fang Pan (Oakland) as the only members of the Midwest League to be named to this year's Futures Game.
