
Dragons Announce Roster Changes

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:
Outfielder Steve Selsky has been promoted from Dayton to Bakersfield (California League).
Right-handed pitcher Lucas O'Rear has been sent from Dayton to Billings (Pioneer League).
Outfielder Yorman Rodriguez has been promoted to Dayton from Billings.
Right-handed pitcher Erik Miller has been sent to Dayton from Pensacola (Southern League).
The Dragons announced yesterday that Reds outfielder Drew Stubbs will begin a major league injury rehabilitation assignment tonight. He does not count towards the Dragons roster limit. The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Selsky appeared in 59 games with the Dragons, batting .281 with three home runs and 26 runs batted in.
O'Rear pitched in 10 games for the Dragons, going 0-0 with a 5.95 earned run average.
Rodriguez returns to the Dragons after spending most of 2011 with the club. Last season, Rodriguez batted .254 with seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 20 stolen bases in 79 games with the Dragons. He started the 2012 season with Advanced-A Bakersfield, batting .156 with no homers and seven RBI in 23 games. He has spent the last several weeks in the Reds extended spring training camp in Goodyear, Arizona.
Miller began the 2012 season with the Dragons, pitching in five games in relief (0-0, 9.39 ERA, 7.2 innings). He was sent from Dayton to extended spring training on April 22. Miller briefly appeared at Double-A Pensacola earlier in June, appearing in three games (0-0, 0.00, 1.2 innings).
The Dragons open the second half against the Bowling Green Hot Rods tonight at 7:05 p.m. (WONE 980 AM) in the start of a six-game home stand. Tonight's game will be televised on WHIO Digital Channel 7.2 (Time Warner 23 and 372).
