WICHITA, Kan. - Jim Fasano connected for a two-run home run off Geivy Garcia (0-1) in the top of the eighth inning to propel the Kansas City T-Bones (41-46) past the Wichita Wingnuts (47-40), 3-2, on Tuesday night in Wichita, KS.
Kansas City managed just three hits through the first seven innings and entered the eighth down by one, 2-1. After Garcia induced a groundout to open the inning, Justin Snyder doubled to put the tying run in scoring position. Following a lineout to short by Ray Sadler, Fasano connected on 2-1 pitch for his ninth home run of the season to give the T-Bones a 3-2 advantage.
