Harrisburg Senators News Release

Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators are celebrating their 25th season since returning to action in the Eastern League in 1987. All season long, the Senators are commemorating this historic season with retro giveaways, a retro weekend, and a few other surprises. One of the highlights of this special season is the naming of the 25th season all-time team.

Before the season started, a player for each position along with a right-handed starter, left-handed starter and one reliever were selected to the team. Over the course of the next three months, this team will be unveiled one player at a time in the Senators Game Magazine and on the first-base side main concourse.

However, this process wouldn't be complete without giving fans their say in who should be the Senators' all-time utility player. This player doesn't have to be a regular player, he can be a pitcher. So we need your help in selecting this player. From now until May 31st, log onto the Senators website, scroll down to the lower right hand side of the page where the poll question is, and select the player you think should be the Senators' all-time utility player. The players to select from are Matt Stairs, Andy Tracy, Tommy Gregg, Milton Bradley, and Jake Westbrook. One of those five players will join the other players as a member of the Senators' 25th Season All-Time team.

Tickets are available online through the Senators website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Sens box office is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. until the 5th inning of all Sens home games. To order tickets over the telephone, please call (717) 231-4444.
