
Falter Leads IronPigs to Series Win in Omaha

(Papillion, Neb) - Bailey Falter (3-0) led the way for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (34-25) in their 4-3 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers (28-29) on Saturday evening. Falter allowed just two runs over seven innings.
Darick Hall got the IronPigs on the scoreboard in the top of the first inning. He hit an RBI double against Carlos Hernandez (1-2) that scored Drew Maggi to give Lehigh Valley a 1-0 lead. Hall's double was his 14th of the season and his 55th RBI of the season. Omaha tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning against Falter as Vinnie Pasquantino hit a home run. The home run for Pasquantino was his 17th of the season.
Yairo Munoz broke the 1-1 tie by hitting a two-run home run in the top of the fifth inning against Hernandez. The 'Pigs would take a 3-1 lead. Munoz hit his third home run in two games for Lehigh Valley. Will Toffey followed with his second home run of the season in the top of the sixth inning - a solo home run against Jace Vines. Lehigh Valley would take a 4-1 lead.
Freddy Fermin hit an RBI single against Falter in the bottom of the seventh inning that cut Lehigh Valley's lead to 4-2.
Jonathan Hennigan pitched a scoreless bottom of the eighth inning. Michael Kelly pitched just 2/3 of an inning in the bottom of the ninth inning as he gave up an RBI single to Fermin. Jakob Hernandez earned his first save of the season by recording the final out of the game.
The IronPigs and Storm Chasers wrap up their series at Werner Park on Sunday evening. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
