Fresno Falcons News Release
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons released rookie defenseman Cramer Hickey on Wednesday prior to the team's 4-2 pre-season victory against the Stockton Thunder. The move leaves 23 players on the club's pre-season roster, which must be pared to 20 by the league's Oct. 19 deadline for Opening Day rosters.
The Falcons continue their pre-season slate tomorrow against the Bakersfield Condors at Rabobank Arena before battling the Thunder in their final tune-up on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Gateway Ice Center. General admission to Sunday's game costs $5, and includes access to the post-game Meet the Team event with all of the Falcons players in the Gateway Ice Center lobby.
Fresno then opens the 2005-06 regular season on Oct. 21 and 22 at Save Mart Center against the Victoria Salmon Kings and Stockton Thunder, respectively. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office. Prices range from $8 - $23.
