
Condors host Fresno in preseason action this Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors open their exhibition schedule this weekend with two games against Fresno & San Diego.
The Condors host the Fresno Falcons at the Rabobank Arena this Saturday, October 15th at 7:00pm. Sponsored by KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 and the Holiday Inn Select, this will be the first full exhibition game for the Condors and the first chance for the public to see the team compete against an opposing team. Tickets are available at $10 for seats in the lower bowl and $5 for upper bowl. The pre-season affair will also be available through B2 Networks, which will provide live video feeds for all 72 Condors regular-season contests this season at a rate of $6 per game.
On Sunday the Condors head south to visit the San Diego Gulls at the San Diego Ice Arena. The puck will drop at 3:30pm. Tickets for the pre-season game in San Diego are $5 and can be purchased at the San Diego Ice Arena or by calling (858) 530- 1825.
The Condors will then have five days of practice before the season opener against the Victoria Salmon Kings at home on Saturday, October 22nd. The game will be carried live on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230, on Bright House Networks (cable channel 21, replay Oct. 23rd at 7:00pm) and online via B2 Networks through the team website, www.bakersfieldcondors.com. The opening face-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
Other notes: The Condors announced the release of defenseman Kevin Truelson from training camp.
Individual tickets are now available for the Condors October 15th pre-season home game versus the Fresno Falcons. Tickets are available at the Rabobank Arena Box Office, open from 10:00am to 6:00pm, by calling Ticketmaster at 322-2525 or ordering online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com.
The Bakersfield Condors open their 2005-06 ECHL season in 8 days at home on October 22nd.
