Falcons Reassign Kelly To Chiefs

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have reassigned center Justin Kelly to their ECHL affiliate, the Johnstown Chiefs.

Kelly was recalled by the Falcons on December 21 and didn't register a point in five games played. Kelly started the season with Johnstown and currently leads the Chiefs in scoring this season with 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points in 21 games. Kelly is also second on Johnstown in power play goals with six. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound native of Abbotsford, British Columbia played in four games with the Falcons last season recording two goals and one assist.

The Falcons return to action on Wednesday, January 11 when they host the Hershey Bears at the MassMutual Center starting at 7:05 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
