Defenseman Andy Delmore enters this week on a 13-game point streak, one game shy of tying Lonny Bohonos' franchise mark for most consecutive games with a point at 14. Bohonos' streak was from January 13 - February 17, 1996 (15 goals, 8 assists). A native of Windsor, Ontario, Delmore is tops in the AHL among defensemen with 35 points and 29 assists. Both totals also lead the Crunch. Claimed off of waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets from the Detroit Red Wings on October 4, 2005, Delmore has split the season between Syracuse and Columbus, appearing in 28 games with the Crunch (6g, 29a) and 5 games with the Blue Jackets (2 penalty minutes). Delmore has appeared in 281 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Nashville, Buffalo and Columbus, recording 43 goals and 58 assists. He lead all NHL defensemen in power play goals (14) and tied for the league lead among defensemen in goals (18) during the 2002-03 season. In 222 career AHL games with Fredericton, Philadelphia, Rochester and Syracuse, Delmore has 126 points (32g, 94a).
QUITE THE MOVES: Through 37 games this season, Syracuse has dressed 43 different players, while Columbus is closing in at 40 different players. Eighteen players have dressed for both Columbus and Syracuse this season (Jaroslav Balastik, Andy Delmore, Dan Fritsche, Steven Goertzen, Mark Hartigan, Aaron Johnson, Pascal Leclaire, Joe Motzko, Andrew Penner, Alexandre Picard, Geoff Platt, Martin Prusek, Jamie Pushor, Mike Rupp, Peter Sarno, Ben Simon, Ole-Kristian Tollefsen and Nikolai Zherdev.)
CRUNCH ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES: The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned defenseman Jamie Pushor and centers Peter Sarno and Ben Simon to Syracuse. The Crunch also announced that the Blue Jackets have reassigned right wing Tim Konsorada to Dayton (ECHL). In addition, Syracuse has reassigned center Brian Gornick to Dayton and have release defenseman Ryan Glenn from his professional try-out contract.
Pushor, 32, appeared in one game with the Blue Jackets, notching an assist. He has recorded 2 goals, 9 assists in 33 AHL games with Syracuse this season. A native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Pushor was signed as a free agent by Columbus on October 7, 2005.
Sarno, 26, appeared in one game with the Blue Jackets without recording a point. He ranked sixth in the AHL in points and second in assists last season with 16 goals, 66 assists in 80 games. Sarno has 9 goals, 6 assists in 13 games for Syracuse this season. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Sarno was signed as a free agent by Columbus on August 19, 2005.
Simon, 27, has appeared in five games with Columbus this season without recording a point. Simon has appeared in 31 games with Syracuse this season, recording 10 goals, 10 assists and 24 penalty minutes. In 245 career AHL games with Chicago, Milwaukee and Syracuse, Simon has tallied 48 goals, 63 assists and 222 penalty minutes. A native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Simon was signed as a free agent by Columbus on August 11, 2005.
Konsorada, 21, has appeared in 13 games with Syracuse this season, recording three goals, two assists and seven penalty minutes. In 18 games with Dayton this season, Konsorada has tallied 6 goals, 14 assists and 2 penalty minutes. A native of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Konsorada was selected by Columbus in the sixth round, 168th overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft.
Gornick, 25, has appeared in seven games with Syracuse this season, tallying one goal and two penalty minutes. In 23 games with Dayton this season, Gornick has recorded 10 goals, 16 assists and 23 penalty minutes. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Gornick was signed by Syracuse on August 24, 2005.
Glenn, 25, appeared in three games while with Syracuse, recording eight penalty minutes. A native of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Glenn has also split time with Milwaukee (3gp, 2 PIM's) and the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers (22gp, 7a, 16 PIM's) this season.
THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS:
HAMILTON (MONTREAL CANADIENS): Syracuse concludes their five-game road trip in Hamilton on Friday, January 13 for the fifth of eight regular season games against the Bulldogs. Syracuse leads the series 2-1-1 after defeating Hamilton in their previous meeting 4-2 on December 27 at Copps Coliseum. Center Geoff Platt leads all players in head-to-head scoring with five points (2g, 3a). Left wing Jean-Francois Jacques (3g, 1a), right wing Andrei Kostitsyn (3g, 1a) and center Maxim Lapierre (4a) lead all Bulldogs players with four points in head-to-head scoring. Goaltender Andrew Penner (1-1-1) has appeared in three games in net for Syracuse, while Hamilton has started a different goaltender each game. Lifetime, the Crunch are 26-30-12 against the Bulldogs.
SPRINGFIELD (TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING): Syracuse returns to the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, January 14 for the second and final of two regular season games. Syracuse leads the series 1-0-0 after beating Springfield 5-4 in a shootout on January 7 at the MassMutual Center. Center Mark Hartigan leads all Crunch players in head-to-head scoring with three points (2g, 1a). Right wing Jim Campbell leads all River Rats players in head-to-head scoring with three points (1g, 2a). Goaltender Martin Prusek posted the win for Syracuse, stopping 22 shots. Springfield goaltender Gerald Coleman recorded 29 saves in the loss. Lifetime, the Crunch are 7-13-5 against the Falcons.
WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON (PITTSBURGH PENGUINS): Syracuse hosts Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday, January 16 for the fourth of eight regular season meetings. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton leads the series 2-1 after defeating Syracuse 2-1 on December 16 at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. Penguins center Matt Hussey leads all players with five points (2g, 3a). Center Ben Simon leads all Crunch players in head-to-head scoring with three points (3a). Goaltender Andrew Penner is 1-1-0 against the Penguins. Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has posted both wins for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Lifetime, Syracuse is 30-20-7 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Labatt's Celebrity Bartending Series Starts at Change of Pace: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Labatt's, announced that the Labatt's Celebrity Bartending series will begin on Monday, January 9 at Change of Pace.
Crunch players Mark Hartigan, Aaron Johnson and Joe Motzko will serve as celebrity bartenders at Change of Pace from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, January 9. Change of Pace is located on 1802 Grant Blvd. in Syracuse. For directions call (315) 472-4409.
All tips generated by the players that night will be donated to the Onondaga Youth Hockey Association.

Crunch Players to Sign Autographs at Tully's, January 10: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Joakim Lindstrom, Jeff MacMillan and Marc Methot will be at Tully's on Erie Blvd. on January 10 from 6-7 p.m. to sign autographs. Tully's is located at 2943 Erie Blvd. Call 449-9339 for directions.
Wednesday, January 11
Celebrity Bartending Series Continues at Crossroads Tavern on January 11: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Labatt's, announced that the Labatt's Celebrity Bartending series will continue on Wednesday, January 11 at Crossroads Tavern.
Crunch players Greg Mauldin, Andrew Penner and Geoff Platt will serve as celebrity bartenders at Crossroads Tavern from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11. Crossroads Tavern is located on 7th North Street in Liverpool.
All tips generated by the players that night will be donated to the Francis House. Established in January 1991, Francis House has become the home of hundreds of people with terminal illnesses, whose families could no longer care for them.
Thursday, January 12
Aaron Johnson and Joe Motzko To Sign Autographs at Coleman's: The Syracuse Crunch announced that Crunch players Aaron Johnson and Joe Motzko will be at Coleman's located on Tipperary Hill on Thursday, January 12 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. to sign autographs.
During the month of January any party that orders two (2) dinner entrees will receive a Crunch ticket voucher, valid for two (2) tickets to any remaining 2005- 06 regular season Crunch home game.
Crunch Announce Details of Time Warner Cable Hockey Mom of the Year Program: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Time Warner Cable, introduced the Time Warner Cable Hockey Mom of the Year program to salute the hockey moms who dedicate their time and energy to taking their kids to hockey practices through all kinds of weather and at all hours.
During the 2005-06 season, youth hockey kids will be encouraged to nominate their mom as the Time Warner Cable Hockey Mom of the Year. The child must write an essay, up to 250 words, giving reason why their mom is Hockey Mom of the Year. The application can be mailed, emailed or dropped off at the Crunch office.
A panel of judges, including Crunch/Time Warner Cable management and Crunch players will select one (1) winner each month. Each monthly winner will receive four (4) tickets to a Crunch game, participate in a ceremonial face-off, a prize pack from Time Warner Cable and a post game tour of the locker room for up to four (4) people.
All winners will be eligible to win the Grand Prize, which includes a one (1) year membership to Gold's Gym, a spa gift certificate and dinner for two (2) to an area restaurant.

Crunch Announce Details of Advance Auto Parts Fan of the Year Contest: The Syracuse Crunch, along with Advance Auto Parts, introduced the Advance Auto Parts Fan of Year program to salute the loyal hockey fans who dedicate their time and energy following the Crunch.
Beginning November 7 and running through March 20, the Crunch will select one (1) fan as a finalist for the Advance Auto Parts Fan of the Year. Each of the twenty (20) finalists will be featured on the Crunch's official website (www.syracusecrunch.com), receive a "Best PART of the Crunch" t-shirt and a gift certificate to Advance Auto Parts.
A panel of judges, including Crunch/Advance Auto Parts management and Crunch players will select three (3) finalists from the twenty (20) featured fans. Crunch fans will then select the Advance Auto Parts Fan of the Year through in-arena and website voting.
The winner will be announced prior to the final home game of the season during an on-ice presentation.
