
Falcons Launch March To Selland Ticket Campaign

Fresno, Ca. - The Fresno Falcons introduced new ticket pricing Thursday night while hosting hundreds of hockey fans at a town hall hockey meeting at Valdez Hall, next to Selland Arena. The "March to Selland Season Ticket Campaign" for the 2008-2009 Falcons relocation back downtown to Selland Arena was officially launched with the news of "substantially reduced season ticket prices" and the guarantee of free "Kelly Cup Playoff hockey tickets" for all season ticket holders who purchase and pay for their seats by April 10th. The Falcons also announced that a "CHOOSE YOUR SEAT NIGHT" is scheduled for Selland Arena on Thursday, February 21 from 6-9pm. All current Falcons season ticket holders will be allowed "FIRST CHOICE OF SEATS" from 6-7:30pm on February 21st. The Falcons open the second half of the season tonight at 7:30pm vs the Idaho Steelheads. The first 3000 fans receive a free Falcons All Star Poster courtesy of Dumont Printing. The poster features action shots of the three Falcons rookie All-Stars Oren Eizenman, Kenny MacAulay and Igor Gongalsky. The three All-Stars will be available for free autographs after the game with a post-game party at Logan's Roadhouse on North Blackstone at El Paso.

The Falcons will also celebrate today's Opening Day of Girl Scout Cookie Sales by honoring last year's top Girl Scout Cookie Seller Becky Kremer with an Official First Puck Ceremony at tonight's game. In 2007 the Girl Scouts sold more than 400,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to cookie lovers of the Central Valley. Becky, from Troop #437 sold 1,398 boxes of cookies and this year plans on breaking her own sales record. The Falcons and Eye Q Vision Care have teamed up to honor the Girl Scouts at each home game by wearing warm up jerseys featuring the Girl Scout logo. These jerseys will also be worn at several games this year and auctioned off on March 29th during the Girl Scouts at the Rink Celebration with the Falcons. Freddie Falcon celebrates a birthday at the Save Mart Center this Sunday at 5pm when the Falcons battle the Stockton Thunder. Freddie will be joined by several of his mascot buddies on the ice during the first intermission for a birthday parade and "Happy Birthday Sing Along". Kids tickets are only $ 7 and all kids are invited to participate in Freddie's Birthday Parade on the ice. All kids at this game will also receive a Freddie for President campaign photo courtesy of Little Caesars.
