Tonight, the first place Erie SeaWolves will take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond. The SeaWolves and Squirrels will pick up last night's suspended ballgame in the top of the eighth inning, tied 1-1. The two clubs will then play a second, nine inning game to wrap up the three game series. Last night, Cam Gibson homered for the SeaWolves lone run and Peter Maris homered for the lone Richmond run. Erie will have the top of the lineup at the plate when play resumes...Righty Logan shore takes the mound for Erie in the series finale and is making his 23rd appearance, 16th start and second appearance against Richmond. Shore faced Richmond in relief on July 20 allowing a run in 1.2 innings. Shore took a no-decision in his last start against Reading on August 13 allowing two unearned runs in three innings...Righty Sean Hjelle takes the mound for Richmond and is making his third start since being called up from Class-A San Jose. In his last start against Bowie on August 15, Hjelle allowed four runs on nine hits with no walks and four strikeouts in 4.2 innings. Hjelle made nine starts with Class-A Augusta (1-2, 2.66 ERA) and 14 starts with San Jose (5-5, 2.79 ERA) prior to joining the Flying Squirrels.
