Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies) in doubleheader action in games one and two of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves have been off the last two days, one scheduled off day and yesterdays rainout, and have not played since a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against Bowie. Yesterday's game was the fourth of the season postponed for the SeaWolves...Erie and Reading split a rare two-game series last week at First Energy Stadium. The 'Wolves held a lead in the second game of the series, only to watch it slip away late as they fell 8-6...The 'Wolves have now gone four consecutive series without a series win...With yesterday's rainout, the Erie rotation has been pushed back a day. Righty L.J. Gagnier will take the mound for the SeaWolves in game one tonight. Gagnier is making his fourth start of the season and his second against the Phillies. Gagnier took a no-decision in his last start at Reading allowing four runs in six innings of work. He has worked at least five innings in all three of his previous starts...Lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound for the 'Wolves in game two. Garcia is making his second appearance since returning from Toledo and his first as a starter. Garcia has stared 72 games in his career, including seven last season with the SeaWolves...Reading is the top offense in the league. The R-Phils are tied for the league lead in team hitting and they lead the league with 84 runs scored. Reading is also the first team with double-digit victories on the season...The 'Wolves wrap up the homestand with games on Wednesday and Thursday and hit the road on Friday.
