Brewer Transferred to Trenton, Stoneburner on D.L.

(Richmond, VA) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that OF Dan Brewer has been transferred to Trenton from Triple-A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre. In a corresponding move, RHP Graham Stoneburner has been placed on the Disabled List, retroactive to April 22.

After appearing in six games for the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees this season, Brewer comes back to Trenton, where he played all of the 2010 season. In 136 games with the Thunder, the Illinois native posted a .270 batting average, as well as ten homeruns, 34 doubles, three triples and 29 stolen bases.

Stoneburner is 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA in three starts this season with the Thunder and has allowed just one run in each of his three starts.

The Thunder continue their seven-game road swing with game two of a four-game series with the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) Tuesday at 6:35 PM.
