Tonight, the first place Erie SeaWolves continue their seven-game road trip as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the opening game of a four-game series at FNB Field. Last night, the SeaWolves played a pair of extra innings games against Richmond. They won the completion of a suspended ballgame by a 7-3 final in 10 innings. Erie then dropped the nightcap in 13 innings 11-10. Erie could not hang on to five leads in the second game. The series loss was only the second for the SeaWolves since the All-Star break...Lefty Jose Fernandez takes the mound for the SeaWolves making a spot start and is making his ninth appearance and first start. Fernandez took the loss in relief on Monday night in Richmond allowing four runs, three earned, in the 10th inning...Righty Mario Sanchez takes the mound for Harrisburg. Sanchez is making his 21st appearance, 16th start and first start against the SeaWolves. Sanchez took a no-decision despite hurling a quality start in his last outing against Richmond on August 17. In the game, Sanchez hurled seven shutout innings of one-hit ball with no walks and four strikeouts. Sanchez has allowed just one unearned run over his past two starts (13.0 IP).
