Energy Select Chris Lofton with 1st Round Pick

Des Moines, IA (Nov. 1, 2010) - The Iowa Energy selected guard Chris Lofton with the 6th overall pick in the 2010 NBA D-League Draft Monday night. Lofton, the SEC's all-time leading 3-point shooter, played in Spain last season.

The Energy selected forward Luke Zeller in the 2nd round. Zeller, a 6'11 big man from Notre Dame, played for the Chicago Bulls during the 2009 NBA Summer League. Wisconsin's Kammron Taylor, a 6'3 guard, spent last season in France.
