READING, PA - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, play their final game before the Holiday Break tonight at Santander Arena in Reading, PA. The Jackals have won seven in a row and 13 of their last 15 games, including last night's 5-2 win over the Royals.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Tonight the Jackals play their last game before the holiday break as they finish a two-game set in Reading against the Royals. Elmira is the hottest team in the league with seven consecutive victories and wins in 13 of their last 15 games, sitting just one point back of the Manchester Monarchs in the East Division. Last night the Jackals cruised past the Royals with a 5-2 win. Niklas Lundstrom stopped 32 shots for his fifth consecutive win while Jacob MacDonald, Tyler Currier, Mark Bennett, Spiro Goulakos and Justin Kea provided the goal scoring. Tonight marks the seventh of 12 meetings this season between the Jackals and Royals and the fifth of six at Santander Arena. The Jackals lead the DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge season series 4-2 and have won the last three meetings.
