
Game Day Preview: Allen at Idaho Americans Wrap up Three-Game Road Trip

Allen Americans News Release
Head-To-Head - The Allen Americans have lost the last two games against the Steelheads. This is the final regular season meeting between the two teams.
Alone on Top - Chad Costello has put a little separation between himself and the rest of the pack. Costello has 37 points in 26 games played this season. Matt Leiter of Manchester is eight points back with 29 points in 28 games.
Third Period Collapse - The Americans gave up four unanswered goals last night in the final period as the Idaho Steelheads blew out the Americans 6-3. Idaho scored three in the final seven and a half minutes of regulation.
Playing Shorthanded - Allen played most of last night's game with eight forwards and five defensemen. Justin Courtnall was given a game misconduct for boarding last night early in the first. David Makowski is with Allen on the trip but not been healthy enough to return to the lineup.
Top Ten Rookie - Eric Roy had a goal and an assist last night for Allen. He is second on the team in scoring with 19 points and number nine overall in the league in rookie scoring.
Three is not a Charm - The Allen Americans have lost three in a row for the first time all season. Allen has also dropped four straight road games and now just a game over 500 on the road at 8-7-0
Idaho Steelhead Notes - Idaho won for just the fourth time at home last night in eleven home games. Jefferson Dahl who leads the team in goals with 12, had a goal and an assist last night while teammate Kyle Jean had three helpers in the win.
Around The ECHL - The Wichita Thunder ended their seven game losing streak last night, with a 3-2 overtime win in Tulsa. It was the Thunder's first road win since mid-October.
