
ECHL revises schedule

Las Vegas, NV â The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today minor adjustments to the team's schedule for the 2004-05 season.
All dates remain the same with the opponent changing for four home dates. The Bakersfield Condors will come to Las Vegas instead of the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Friday, December 17th. The San Diego Gulls and Victoria Salmon Kings switch dates with San Diego moving to Thursday, January 13th and Victoria moving to Friday, January 14th. Fresno replaces San Diego on Friday, March 11th. All games remain 7:05 pm face-offs at the Orleans Arena.
The Wranglers have re-signed five players for the upcoming 2004-05 season. Goalie Marc Magliarditi returns with defensemen Jason and Mike McBain, and forwards Jeff Attard and Doug Wright.
The Wranglers get their first look at the ECHL champion Idaho Steelheads on November 19th and 20th at the Orleans Arena. Idaho bounced back from a 2-0 deficit with three straight wins to eliminate the Wranglers in the controversial first round of the ECHL playoffs. Idaho eventually beat the Florida Everblades 4-1 for the ECHL's Kelly Cup Championship. The Western Division expansion Victoria (BC) Salmon Kings visit Las Vegas for the first time on Friday, November 12th.
Of the 72 regular season games, 30 of 60 games against Western Division opponents will be played at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will host the American Conference's Peoria Rivermen, Greenville Grrrowl and Toledo Storm to round out its 36-game home schedule. The Wranglers will play 23 of the team's 36 home games on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Fans may purchase seats to the Wranglers Opening Night on November 2nd as well as all other 35 regular season home games on the team's website (www.lasvegaswranglers.com) or any of the following ticket locations; The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
Opening Night for the Las Vegas Wranglers 2004-05 season, presented by TahititPetey.com, is Tuesday, November 2nd against the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:05 pm. The regular season concludes Saturday, April 9th against the Alaska Aces. The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
