Peoria, Ill. (July 27, 2004) – The Peoria Rivermen, in conjunction with the ECHL – America's Premier AA Hockey League, announced today one minor change in the team's 72-game schedule for the 2004-2005 season. This will mark Peoria's ninth campaign in the ECHL and the 23rd for professional hockey in Central Illinois.

The Rivermen will now battle the Bombers nine times with five home contests and four road contests.
