Titans Release Revised Schedule

TRENTON, NJ (July 27, 2004) - The Trenton Titans in conjunction with the ECHL today announced their revised schedule for the 2004-05 season. The revision was necessitated following the termination of memberships in Greensboro and Roanoke by the ECHL Board of Governors.

The Titans will begin their 72-game season of play in the friendly confines of the Sovereign Bank Arena with their home opener, presented by St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, October 22 at 7:30pm versus the Reading Royals. This game is just one of 65 match-ups against opponents in the newly dubbed North Division.

The Titans will face off ten times each their local division rivals, the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and the Royals as well as the Dayton Bombers and Johnstown Chiefs. Trenton will also due battle with the Toledo Storm and Wheeling Nailers each for nine games. The Titans round out their schedule within the North Division with seven games versus the Peoria Rivermen. The Titans will host two National Conference opponents, the Bakersfield Condors and Long Beach Ice Dogs, each for two matches.

The longest homestand for Trenton is a five-game set against five different North Division teams, starting with the Rivermen on February 1 and the finishing with the Chiefs on February 9. The Titans will twice hit the road for a season-high, five consecutive games. The first trip will span Dec 10-16 and the second, Jan 14-28.

Their home schedule has the Titans playing eight games on Friday and twelve on Saturday, up from eight the previous season. Game time on Fridays is 7:30pm, while games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and Saturday will begin at 7:00pm. "Family Fun Sundays" - where select tickets for children 14 and under are $1 - also return in 2004-05 for five games with start time of 3:00pm. All game times are subject to change.

The schedule contains two exceptions to the standard start times as the Titans host their "Education Day Game" on Wednesday, March 30 at 10:30am against Peoria. Saturday's game on March 12 versus Dayton will feature a 12:00pm start time. Complete league and team schedules are available online at www.echl.com.
