Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today the revised schedule for the 2004-2005 regular season.
The Pride are still scheduled to open the season at home on Friday, October 22. Pee Dee hosts the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in the season opener. This will be the Bullies' first-ever visit to Florence, and just the second all-time meeting between the two clubs. Pee Dee won a 5-4 shootout decision at Atlantic City on January 26, 2003.
Pee Dee will see a heavy dose of regional opposition during the 2004-2005 season. Thirty-one of the Pride's 72 games take place against Palmetto State rivals Columbia (10), Greenville (10) and South Carolina (11).
The longest home stand of the year is five games, which takes place twice: January 13-January 22 and March 10-March 18. The team's longest road trip of the season is an eight-game trip from January 28-February 9.
Pee Dee plays two pre-season contests in preparation for the regular season. On Friday, October 15, the Pride head to Columbia to take on the Inferno. The next night, Saturday, October 16, the Pride host the South Carolina Stingrays in the lone home contest of the pre-season.
Season tickets, flex plans, group tickets and corporate partnerships for the 2004-2005 season are now available. For more information, or to place your order, visit the Pride office, located at the Florence Civic Center, or call (843) 669-7825.
New for the 2004-2005 season is the Pride's Adopt-a-School program. Individuals or businesses can purchase season tickets or flex plans to donate to local non-profit organizations for distribution. For more information on the Adopt-a-School program, call the Pride office at (843) 669-7825.
