
Earthquakes Goalkeeper Daniel Undergoes Knee Surgery

SAN JOSE, Calif.- San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Daniel successfully underwent surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee on Friday afternoon. The surgery was performed at Stanford Medicine and will keep him sidelined for four to six weeks.
Daniel suffered the injury at training on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Brazilian joined the team in January and started the first two matches of the season.
