Game One: Resumption of July 3rd Game
Game Two: LHP Blake Snell (NR) vs. RHP Zach Davies (3-6, 3.02)
The Bulls play a modified doubleheader on the first day of a three-day set against the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. Game One tonight will be the resumption of the July 3rd game between the two teams, which was suspended after four innings because of rain tied 0-0. Game One will be played in its entirety (nine innings), before a seven-inning Game Two will follow. Durham is 3-5 since the All-Star Break, and has dropped 21 of its last 32 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 6.5-game deficit. The Bulls are 1-3 to start their season-long 11-game road trip after salvaging the finale of a four-game set in Charlotte last night. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - is coming off a four-game sweep of Pawtucket at home, and enters today with the best record in the IL. The Tides are 6-2 since the All-Star break, and are 9-4 over their last 13 home games.
