The Bulls play game two of a four-game set against the Charlotte Knights in the first series of a season-long 11-game road trip. Durham is 2-3 since the All-Star Break, and has dropped 19 of its last 28 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 5.0-game deficit, tied for its largest deficit of the season. Charlotte - the Chicago White Sox top affiliate - is 3-2 over the first five games of an eight-game homestand. The Knights enter today with a 31-18 record at home, 2nd-best in the IL behind Indianapolis (30-17).
