IronPigs Try to Snap Skid

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to snap a two-game skid on Tuesday morning when they host the Toledo Mud Hens at 11:35 a.m.

LHP Anthony Vasquez (5-3, 4.32) gets the start for the IronPigs. The southpaw got the win in his last start on July 12 at Pawtucket when he tossed eight shutout innings to go along with two walks and four strikeouts. Vasquez is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA over his last 2 GS.

RHP Thad Weber (6-5, 3.77) will be on the bump for the Mud Hens on Tuesday morning. Weber was dealt with the loss vs. Indianapolis on Thursday after surrendering three runs on eight hits while walking one and fanning five over seven innings of work. Right-handed hitters are hitting just .215 (44-205) against the Seward, Neb. native this season.

After tossing a scoreless inning on Monday night, Pigs RHP Nefi Ogando has now notched six straight scoreless outings (9.2 IP) to begin his Triple-A career. Ogando is 1-0 with one save and has allowed five hits to go along with four walks and nine strikeouts in that span.

Tuesday is Camp Day at Coca-Cola Park.
