Toledo Mud Hens News Release
National Dog Day is Wednesday, August 26, and the Mud Hens are teaming up with the Toledo Area Humane Society for a dog friendly event at Fifth Third Field that evening. The second Hens and Hounds Night of the season is presented by the Blade. It's your chance to watch the world famous Toledo Mud Hens in the company of man's best friend!
It truly will be the 'dog day of summer' at the ballpark that night, and the first 500 dogs through the gates will receive a doggie prize! The Home Run Picnic Terrace in Sections 120-122 will be a dog friendly zone, with special water stations, mini-pools and designated restroom areas will be provided. Fans bringing their dog should enter through the Center Field Gate near the corner of Monroe and St. Clair. Dogs must be on a leash (six feet or less, no retractable leashes please).
Dog owner tickets are $12 each, and tickets for your furry companion are $8 each. 100 percent of the dog ticket proceeds will benefit the Toledo Area Humane Society.
On August 26, the Mud Hens take on Columbus at 6:30 p.m. For tickets, call 419-725-4367 or order online.
