LHP Everett Teaford (3-5, 6.95) vs. RHP Donovan Hand (1-2, 4.15)
The Bulls open up a four-game set against the Louisville Bats at Louisville Slugger Field in the first series of a seven-game road trip. Durham has won four games in a row, is 14-4 over its last 18 games, and is coming off of a three-game sweep of Lehigh Valley at the DBAP. The Bulls enter today in sole possession of first place in the IL South for the first time since 5/11, and enter today nine games above .500 for the first time since 7/22/14, when they were 56-47. Louisville - the Cincinnati Reds' top affiliate - is 6-4 in its last 10 games, but is 3-4 over its last seven by virtue of trading wins and losses. The Bats are 9-4 over their last 13 home games.
