Toledo Mud Hens (53-48) vs. Durham Bulls (58-43)
LHP Tyler Alexander (2-2, 4.62) vs. RHP Zach Lee (2-2, 3.89)
The Durham Bulls have won two in a row with a 3-1 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens Wednesday night. Tonight the Bulls send Zach Lee to the mound for the series finale looking for a sweep for the first time since sweeping a two-game set against Gwinnett on July 2-3. Tyler Alexander is scheduled to make his first-career start against Durham for the Hens. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the DBAP.
The Bulls hold a 4.0-game lead over the Norfolk Tides (55-47) in the South Division. The Mud Hens are 53-48 and tied for second place with Columbus (53-48) a 0.5-game back of the Indianapolis Indians (53-47) for the West Division lead, and have lost five in a row.
