After splitting the first two games of the series the Pigs and Stripers wrap up their three-game set at 7:05 p.m.
PITCHING MATCHUP
Cole Irvin takes the ball in the finale for the Pigs against Matt Wisler for the Stripers. The pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle.
Irvin is coming off his first win in over a month last time out against Toledo. Irvin went five innings and allowed three hits and one run while striking out eight. It was starts between wins for Irvin and in that time he was 0-2 with a 2.97. Wisler is making his first start of the season against the Pigs. The 25-year-old who was brought over from the Padres in 2015 is 4-4 on the year with a 4.29 ERA in 12 starts for the Stripers.
LAST GAME
Touki Toussaint, one of the top prospects in the Atlanta system, spun a gem for the Stripers. The right-hander logged eight scoreless innings with eight strikeouts and four walks.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Stripers win yesterday was their first of the season against Lehigh Valley.
A win tonight, the Pigs would finish the season series with the Stripers with a 5-1 record. It would be the third straight year that the Pigs have won five games against Gwinnett.
