The Red Wings offense sputtered in a 4-0 road loss to the Indianapolis Indians Thursday night.

The Wings (45-55) mustered just three runs over the three-game series which they lost two games to one.

Indianapolis jumped on Wings starter Fernando Romero in the first inning as they plated three runs on RBI singles from Kevin Kramer and Rochester native Christopher Bostick.

Romero would settle down allowing just a Ryan Lavarnway homer the rest of the night as he went 7.2 innings allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk.

However, Indians starter Clay Holmes was better throwing seven innings of shutout baseball.

Andy Wilkins and Lamonte Wade picked up doubles for Rochester who went 0-for-7 with RISP

The Wings west division road trip continues Friday night in Louisville.
