Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Zach Stewart has been promoted from Dayton to Sarasota of the Florida State League.

Left-handed pitcher Aguido Gonzalez has been promoted to Dayton from Billings of the Pioneer League.

Stewart, the Reds' third round draft pick last month out of Texas Tech University, appeared in 11 games out of the Dayton bullpen and allowed only one earned run. He went 1-2 with three saves and a 0.55 earned run average.

Aguido (uh-GEED-oh) Gonzalez, 21, is a native of Venezuela. With Billings, he has appeared in 10 games without allowing a run, going 2-0 with four saves. He has tossed 12 and one-third scoreless innings while allowing just five hits with five walks and 23 strikeouts. He is tied for second in the Pioneer League in saves.

Gonzalez also pitched in two games with Sarasota earlier this season and went 1-0, allowing one unearned run in four innings of work.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

The Dragons have won nine of their last 10 games. They open a three game series at Clinton tonight (Saturday) at 8:00 p.m. (EDT).
