Today's Game: The Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) host the TinCaps (affiliate of the San Diego Padres) in the rubber match of a three-game set. Season Series: Dayton 6, Fort Wayne 5. Dayton is 4-1 vs. Fort Wayne at Fifth Third Field.

Streaks: Dayton: Lost 1 (lost five of last six). Fort Wayne: Won 1 (8-5 over last 13 games).

Last Game: Fort Wayne defeated the Dragons last night 2-1 to even the series at one win apiece. It was the first win by the TinCaps in Dayton in 2010 after four losses. After the two clubs combined for 25 runs on Monday, last night's game was a pitcher's dual. The TinCaps broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the sixth inning on an RBI double by Daniel Meeley and their bullpen shutout the Dragons over the final four innings. Hayden Beard tossed three scoreless innings before Nick Schumacher notched the save with a scoreless ninth, allowing two singles in the inning. Dayton had seven hits by seven different players. Cameron Satterwhite extended his hitting streak to 15 straight games but Ryan LaMarre's 9-gamer came to an end.

Today's Starting Pitcher: Tim Crabbe makes his fourth start of the season tonight. He has also made two relief appearances. Crabbe last pitched on Friday at Lansing and did not receive a decision (5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 6 BB, 6 SO). Crabbe has not allowed a run in the month of June covering 17 innings. He opened the 2010 season in extended spring training before joining the Dragons for one start on May 22 vs. Bowling Green (4.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 SO), then returned to Goodyear. He re-joined Dragons on June 5. Crabbe spent last season at Billings and went 1-7, 4.86 in 14 starts. He was the Reds 14th round draft pick out of Westmont (Cal.) College.

Individual Notes

* Cameron Satterwhite has hit in 15 straight games, going 26 for 60, .433. This is tied for the second longest hitting streak in the league this season, one behind Cedar Rapids' Mike Trout (April 24-May 11). This is tied for the third longest in Dragons history, trailing Carlos Mendez (20 games, 2009), and Cody Strait (19 games, 2005) and tied with Adam Rosales (15 games, 2005). Satterwhite is batting .398 over his last 24 games and is batting .364 since joining the Dragons on May 21. He is hitting .391 for the month of June, which ranks first in the league. He also leads the league in slugging percentage in June at .655 and is tied for the league lead in extra base hits with 15.

* Ryan LaMarre is batting .324 over his last 10 games. His 9-game hitting streak was snapped last night.

* Chris Richburg is batting .316 over his last 10 games. He has five home runs in June to lead the team and tie for second in the league.

* Henry Rodriguez is batting .348 over his last 23 games with 10 doubles, two triples, and a home run. Rodriguez is hitting .391 in the second half to lead the team.

* Tim Crabbe over his last four games: 17 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 8 BB, 20 SO. Crabbe leads the league in ERA in June at 0.00.
