Douglas activated from DL, Palacios sent to Oneonta

West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
The West Michigan Whitecaps, in conjunction with the Detroit Tigers, announced today that second baseman Brandon Douglas has been activated from the disabled list and infielder Luis Palacios has been reassigned to Short Season Oneonta.
Before landing on the disabled list, Douglas was batting .333 with 34 RBI in 74 games with the Whitecaps. Palacios batted .176 with three RBI since returning to West Michigan for a second stint on August 6.
The Whitecaps return home Friday, August 28 to take on the Fort Wayne TinCaps at 7:00 p.m. Individual and group tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the West Michigan Glass Block Ticket Office at Fifth Third Ballpark, by calling the Whitecaps front office at 616-784-4131 or by visiting www.whitecapsbaseball.com.
