Loons, Jenkins Create Gem of a Promotion
August 27, 2009 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Great Lakes Loons News Release
The Great Lakes Loons have partnered with The Diamond Factory and Jenkins Custom Jewelers to create an exciting promotion for the Loons' regular season finale on Labor Day, September 7.
On September 7, the first 3,000 fans 18 years of age and older will receive a free cubic zirconia as they enter the gates. The cubic zirconia will come in various colors. During the fifth inning of the game, fans with a specific colored cubic zirconia will be instructed to report to guest services, joining eight finalists that will be pre-selected from The Diamond Factory and Jenkins Custom Jewelers stores.
The 18 total finalists will all receive a box during a between-innings break during the game. Seventeen of the boxes will be filled with a $100 gift certificate from The Diamond Factory and Jenkins Custom Jewelers. The final box will contain a diamond ring valued at $5,000.
"This is a tremendous gift that we are able to offer to our fans for final regular season game," said Loons President and General Manager Paul Barbeau. "We are pleased to have The Diamond Factory and Jenkins Custom Jewelers on board as one of our great partners."
Tickets for the remaining 8 regular season home Loons games are available at Loons.com, the Dow Diamond ticket office or by calling 989-837-BALL.
The Great Lakes Loons are the third-year Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League. For more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
