Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has reassigned defenseman Matt Donovan to Milwaukee.
Donovan played in two games with the Predators in his first recall of the season, dishing out an assist in the Preds 5-4 shoot-out win over Minnesota on March 5. The Edmond, OK native is still third on the Admirals and first among team defensemen in points with 29 (11g-18a) in 55 games. Donovan previously had 67 games of NHL experience with the Islanders from 2011-15, registering 19 points (2g-17a), and has 179 points (51g-128a) in 308 career AHL contests. He played two seasons with the University of Denver from 2009-11 and won a Gold Medal with the United States at the 2010 World Junior Championship.
