'Dogs to host Sean Corner Benefit Night March 30

The Hamilton Bulldogs have some exciting community initiatives planned in the coming weeks and are also running a number of ongoing and upcoming promotions.
SEAN CORNER BENEFIT NIGHT
The Hamilton Bulldogs, in conjunction with the Hamilton Hornets Rugby Football Club, will host "Sean Corner Benefit Night" on Friday, March 30th at 7:30 p.m. when the Bulldogs host the Grand Rapids Griffins at Copps Coliseum.
Sean Corner, a 21 year-old star both in the classroom and on the rugby field, has been a six-year member of the Hamilton Hornets. Corner, a former Hill Park High School graduate and Mohawk College Mountaineers alumni, suffered a spinal cord injury during a rugby game on September 9th, 2006. The injury caused paralysis from the waist down and is likely to be permanent.

The "Sean Corner Benefit Fund" will directly receive all net proceeds from each ticket sold through these avenues.
Donations, including an autographed Team Canada Rugby jersey donated by Rugby Canada, and an autographed Team Canada Jarome Iginla jersey donated by Shoot For A Cure, will be put up for silent auction during the game. Other corporate partners involved in offering donated prizes include Park's Furniture, Barbarian Rugby, WorldRugbyShop.com, Busche Granite, Jordana Sports, and New Balance.
Sean will also be on hand to drop the puck during the ceremonial face-off before the game.
BUILD BRUISER A DOGHOUSE
Our resident mascot, Bruiser, is looking for a new doghouse and we're hoping you can help. This is a great opportunity to catch Bulldogs action at the home of their parent club, the Montreal Canadiens. 'JERSEYS OFF OUR BACKS'
Bulldogs fans, this is your chance to take home the game worn jersey right off your favorite player's back! Raffle tickets are available from February 16th - April 11th at the Youth Fund Booth behind section 114. Place the ticket in the box of the player that you want to win, and on April 13th you could be announced as the lucky winner! Winners will attend a private meet and greet and autograph session at the end of the season, where they will receive the jersey directly from the player!
Tickets are $2.00 each, three for $5.00 or 20 for $20.00. Net proceeds from this event are in support of the Hamilton Bulldogs Youth Fund.
BRUISER TO BATTLE CHAMMY AT HOUSE LEAGUE CLASSIC
Bruiser is set to be honorary Captain of the 5th Annual March Break Classic House League Tournament on Thursday March 15th at Rosedale Arena.
Bruiser will be game ready as he heads to partake in the annual March Break Classic. This will be Bruiser's 2nd year as honorary captain for the pre-novice championship game, set to take place at approx. 11:30 am. Last year Bruiser helped lead his team to victory as they defeated a team lead by the Hamilton Ti-Cats mascot Stripes. This year the official mascot of 820 CHAM, Chammy, is challenging Bruiser for bragging rights amongst the mascots. Bruiser looks to keep the winning streak alive as he puts his team leading skills to the test.
Feel free to stop by Rosedale Arena on March 15th to cheer for your favourite mascot and there pre-novice hockey teams as they battle for the title of March Break Classic House League Tournament Champions.
