WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today that defenseman Kyle Masters has been reassigned to the Thunder from the Barracuda.

In a separate move, goaltender Tyriq Outen has been released.

Masters, 22, is in his third full season as a pro. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, the 6-foot, 180-pound defenseman has spent time in each of the last two seasons with the AHL's Iowa Wild and the ECHL's Iowa Heartlanders.
