David Phillips Signs PTO Contract with the Lake Erie Monsters

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that defenseman Dave Phillips has signed a PTO (Professional Tryout) with the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.
Phillips skated in eight games with the Monsters earlier this year, collecting two assists. With Toledo this year, Dave has one goal and three assists and is a plus two in nineteen games. Lake Erie is at home today against Texas.
The Toledo Walleye will be back at home Saturday February 19th at 7:00 PM vs. the Kalamazoo Wings at the Huntington Center. Tickets are on sale for that contest and all remaining home games. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
