Francis Assigned to Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglersé announced that center Chris Francis has been assigned to them by the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.
Francis, 21, has split his 2010-11 season so far between the AHL and CHL. The Las Vegas, NV, native has appeared in four games with the AHL's Springfield Falcons this season, registering a goal and an assist. The 5-9, 189-pound center also spent time with the Fort Wayne Komets of the CHL. While in Fort Wayne, Francis tallied 17 points (4g, 13a) in 32 games played.
The Wranglers head to Utah this weekend to face the Grizzlies on Friday and Saturday. Fans are invited to attend the Scooter's Pub Viewing Party on Friday starting at 5:30 pm. Scooter's Pub will offer specials throughout the game and several Wranglers players will be in attendance.
The Las Vegas Wranglersé are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
2010-11 prorated season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
