Daniel Altshuller Named Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades are pleased to announce that Daniel Altshuller has been named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
Altshuller, 21, posted a 5-0-0 record with three shutouts, a 0.80 goals-against-average and a save percentage of .968 in five appearances during the month. Altshuller allowed two goals or less in all five of his November starts, and has recorded shutouts in each of his last two starts on November 14 against the Idaho Steelheads and on November 27 at Colorado.
Altshuller is 8-1-0 in ten appearances this season and leads the ECHL with three shutouts, a 1.33-goals-against-average and a .948 save percentage.
The 6-4, 201-pound netminder posted an 8-3-1 record in 14 appearances in his rookie campaign with the Everblades last season. Altshuller also made six playoff appearances last spring which included a stellar 30-save shutout performance in a series-clinching Game 6 of the division semifinals against the Orlando Solar Bears on April 28.
The Nepean, Ontario native is a third -round draft selection of the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Earlier today, forward Matt Willows was recognized as a runner-up for the CCM ECHL Rookie of Month award. Willows recorded 15 points (6g, 9a) 13 games played in November.
The Everblades battle the Idaho Steelheads tonight at CenturyLink Arena in Boise beginning at 9:10 p.m. Eastern Time.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
