Florida's Altshuller Named Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Daniel Altshuller of the Florida Everblades is the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
The 21-year-old went 5-0-0 with three shutouts, a 0.80 goals-against average and a save percentage of .968 in five appearances during the month.
Altshuller allowed two goals or less in all five of his November starts and is coming off of shutouts in each of his last two games - stopping 21 shots in a 3-0 win over Idaho on Nov. 14 and in a 2-0 victory at Colorado on Nov. 27.
Under contract to the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League,?Altshuller is 8-1-0 in 10 appearances this season and leads the ECHL with three shutouts, a 1.33 goals-against average and a .948 save percentage.
A native of Nepean, Ontario, Althusller has appeared in 24 career ECHL games with the Everblades posting an overall record of 16-4-1 with three shutouts, a 2.43 goals-against average and a save percentage of .907.
Prior to turning pro, he appeared in 140 career games with Oshawa of the Ontario Hockey League where he went 78-47-8 with five shutouts, a 2.80 goals-against average and a save percentage of .910.
