
Cyclones Rally to Beat Storm

Toledo, OH -- The Cincinnati Cyclones overcame a two-goal deficit in the third period to defeat the Toledo Storm 3-2 on Saturday at the Toledo Sports Arena.
Toledo had single goals in each of the first two periods. Jim Brown scored at 8:39 of the first, then Jeff Johnstone added a power-play goal at 1:28 of the second period to pace the home team to a 2-0 advantage.
In the third, the Cyclones had a pair of goals from Aaron Brand just 45 seconds apart to tie the game 2-2. Then, Joe Cardarelli would notch the game-winning goal at 11:26 of the frame.
Goaltender Greg Hewitt finished the night with 37 saves in holding the fort down the stretch.
Cincinnati closes out the regular season on Sunday in a 2:30 PM match-up at Johnstown.
