TONIGHT'S MATCHUP:
Tonight the Cyclones meet the Trenton Devils for the first of only two times in the 2010-11 regular season. Last year the Cyclones dominated the Devils, going 5-1-0 in the season series including a perfect 3-0 mark at Sun National Bank Center. Cincinnati outscored Trenton 21-15 in those six meetings.
SCOUTING THE DEVILS:
Trenton comes into this weekend at the bottom of the Atlantic Division with a 2-3-0-1 record....although they've only lost one home game in regulation play this season. Their offensive output has struggled to start the season...their 21 goals scored are 6th fewest in the ECHL.
INSTANT IMPACT ON "D":
New Cyclones defenseman Scott Lehman added to an already offensively-minded defensive core. The Windsor, Ontario native registered a point in three of his first four games with the Cyclones.
LET'S BUCK THE TREND
Over the last two seasons, November has been one of the toughest months for the Cyclones...combining for a 14-10-3 record in that span. Statistically speaking, October has been the worst month for Cincinnati. Since the 2008-09 season, they are 6-8-3 in the month of October.
