ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, were out-dueled by the Alaska Aces, 1-0, in front of 5,381 fans at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Thursday.
The game was just past the half-way mark of the second period when Alaska scored the first goal of the game. Brian Swanson centered a pass to Scott Howes, who beat Kellen Briggs to give the Aces a 1-0 lead.
Both teams had a number of scoring opportunities on the night, but the goaltenders played well. Gerald Coleman earned his fifth win for Alaska and a share of the league lead in that category.

REIGN DROPS This Saturday, November 6th is Military Night, hosted by Stater Bros. Charities. Reign players will be wearing special edition military jerseys for the game, which will be auctioned off immediately following the match against Alaska. Auction proceeds will benefit local veteran organzations of Southern California. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a limited edition Jeff Zatkoff bobblehead, compliments of Ignite Advertising, so be sure to arrive early! A post-game player party will be held at Boston's Pizza (4th & Milliken location) immediately following the match.
