The Elmira Jackals will try to earn a three-game winning streak for the first time this season as they return home to take on the Reading Royals at 7:35 p.m.
DEFENSE WINS
The Jackals have held their opponents to three goals this week, Elmira's best stretch over two games this season. As a result, the Jackals have jumped up to sixth in the ECHL in goals against per game, permitting 2.75 a game over eight contests.
TRI-STATE TRIO UPDATE
The Jackals (12 points) lead the Royals (6) by six points for first place in the Atlantic Division, while the Trenton Devils (5) are third.
