CYCLONES SNOW GLOBE NIGHT

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After a rare weekend off, the Cyclones are back to work tonight as they reunite with the Kalamazoo Wings for the third time in seven days. The Clones took a 3-2 lead in the 2013-14 season series by delivering a 5-2 beating at Wings Stadium on Friday night. Cincinnati currently owns a 17-8-2-1 record against their Mitten State rivals at U.S. Bank Arena.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: BIG BEER TUESDAY / ANCHORMAN NIGHT - Fans 21+ can enjoy $2 24-ounce beers while paying homage to "Ron Burgandy" and the comedy classic movie "Anchorman."

SCOUTING THE WINGS: Nick Bootland's club has dropped two straight games after having earned points in their previous six. And thanks to the recent dip, the Wings sit five points back of the Cyclones in the North Division standings. Yanni Gourde continues to lead Kalamazoo and ranks eighth in the ECHL overall with 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) in 21 games. Eric Kattelus, who has been the best offensive producer against the Cyclones through five meetings, is second on the team with 20 tallies (7 goals, 13 assists) in as-many contests. The goaltending duo of Jordan Binnington and Joel Martin have alternated the last six games for K-Zoo. Binnington has amassed 6-5-0-1 record with a 2.44 goals-against average while Martin has earned a 5-3-0-2 mark and a 2.45 GAA.

About Friday Night in Kalamazoo: The Cyclones found five different goal scorers while the team's penalty kill unit was a perfect five-for-five en route to a convincing 5-2 win over the Wings in front of 2,720 at Wings Stadium. Josh Birkholz, Wade Megan and Logan Shaw each had multi-point efforts while Rob Madore turned aside 29 saves to earn the victory.

Megan's Masterful: Cincinnati rookie Wade Megan has maintained an impressive start to his pro career. He has notched points in three of his last four games and ranks third among ECHL rookies in points. His 12 goals are tied for the league lead among first-year players.

Four Score and Win: The Clones have been nearly unbeatable when reaching the four-goal plateau, going 8-1-0 in such situations. When they hold their opponents to less than four goals, Cincy is 11-4-0-1.

"Arnie" Reaches 100: Cincinnati defenseman Taylor Aronson is playing in his 100th game as member of Cincinnati tonight. During his time in the Queen City, the third-year pro has amassed 42 points.
