Sinkewich Headed to AHL

(Toledo, OH) - Defenseman Russ Sinkewich has signed a player tryout agreement with the Texas Stars of the AHL.

Sinkewich will be making a return trip to the AHL after appearing in one game earlier this year with Lake Erie. The native of Westlake, Ohio has appeared in 20 games for Toledo this year, collecting eight assists and 25 penalty minutes. In 63 career AHL games, Sinkewich has seven assists and 47 penalty minutes. Texas will host San Antonio Wednesday night.
